Father Stephen Clark came to St. Joseph the Worker in 1977. He presided over a crowded Church during his time as Pastor. A new rectory was built near the Church during his time at St. Joseph. Also a mortgage burning celebration took place on September 22nd, 1978 (the dept was assumed by the Church when the Stigmatine's left). The Celebration took place at the Ramada Inn with six hundred and twenty two in attendance.
